Terms of sale

Placing an order is an offer to buy. The contract is formed when we send your order confirmation email. We can decline an order before dispatch, for example if an item turns out to be unavailable, and will refund you in full if we do.

• All prices are in pounds sterling and include UK VAT at 20%.
• Delivery is charged at the rate shown at checkout for your chosen destination.
• If we list an item at an obviously wrong price, we will contact you before dispatch to confirm the correct price or cancel and refund the order.
• Payment is taken in full when you order, through Stripe.

We make clothing in small runs. Adding a size to your bag holds it for 15 minutes so it is not sold to someone else while you check out. After 15 minutes the hold is released and the item returns to general stock. Stock is confirmed again when you pay.

We may pause orders between runs or while restocking. While orders are paused you can browse the site and join the list, but you cannot check out.

• One promo code per order. Codes cannot be combined or exchanged for cash.
• Some products are excluded from all promo codes, or from specific codes. Your bag shows which items a code does not apply to.
• Each code carries a maximum discount, shown when you apply it.
• WELCOME10 gives 10% off your first order, can be used once per customer and is capped at £15.
• We may withdraw a code at any time, and cancel orders that misuse one.

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you can cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of receiving it, then return the items within a further 14 days. Our 30 day returns policy goes further than this and runs alongside it.

Everything we sell must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described, as set out in the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Nothing in these terms affects those rights.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your local courts. If something goes wrong, email hello@middlemancollections.com first and we will try to put it right.
